Welcome to week 17 of Internet of Literal Things. The weird, wacky, wonderful, and wild of the world wide web seems to be several-too-many “w’s” and a perfect place for me to start. I’m Sara Nason, a fellow person on the internet, who happens to have many hours on hand to read random articles that are tucked into multiple crevices in my phone.
Along with last week’s tarot reading, I’ve been digging further into my own connection to astrology, tarot, spiritual occurrences, and other similar resources. It’s interesting to find myself thinking about each of these resources especially in the weird times of life. Like, everything’s going great, hunky-dory, and then -wham- emotional development hits the fan. That’s how it’s been pretty much my whole life, although the periods of going great have gotten longer and longer and longer until the plateaus of not-so-fun-feeling last only a weekend or two. Part of it stems from liking to be alone, and then not being alone, and then being alone again. There’s an adjustment period getting used to the silence of self again. Or… we can do what many individuals like to do and say Mercury’s in retrograde. Sometimes, it’s easier to blame the planets.
So, strangers of the internet, here we go. Mercury’s in retrograde, for the Internet of Literal Things #16.
